First, get an iron pan, and season.
Buy meat that about 1-1/2 inches thick. This is wide enough to enable them juicy - can not do this if you have a steak "minutes" that have sold in some supermarkets.
Oven to 350
Well, if you have a steak, put it on the stove over medium heat and rain, a little oil in the bottom of the pan. The first thing to do is return the meat, will help the moisture in.
If the pan is hot, place meat. After 2 minutes, turn the meat. After a minute and a half, put the pan in a preheated oven (the big deal is about cast iron pans - you can use the stove to move the oven Without do with worry about handles and knobs and other bits for four!). Remove it after 10 minutes. Cover with foil and let stand 5 minutes.
Then serve. You should find that you have half a steak.

Because they do not cook the meat on or in an oven.

This is to make like a good steak.

Start with a decent steak, filet is a good enough.

Season meat with salt and pepper. How should you set is a sort of Montreal steak seasoning. I prefer to put me in the fridge for a while.

Then remove from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking. Yes, definitely. This allows the meat to room temperature, so the meat does not download much, if you put it on the hot surface. Surprisingly, the meat, it can be much more difficult.

From there, you have two options:

1. Heat a frying pan until very hot, a little fat. Oil, butter (which is correct) or even bacon grease. Put the meat down and not touch. Meat Is very good. You will conclude from the oven, if they have a beautiful golden color to it. Then cover. Reduce Brown in the second and higher and the heat when you want it cooked.

2. Brown on both sides to push as above, but if the pan from the oven when a secure, if not put them in a frying pan. And to finish on the grill.

3. Grill for more than half of the indirect heat-ish hot.

Recalls some additional tips:

1. Never cook a steak. Anything else is half over the meat to cook and even medium pushes the boundaries a little. A steak is a steak WEEL lies in ruins and May as well get rid of his money.

2. Let the rest of the juicy steak, if Stea remain the first bite to the last bite.

3. Do not forget to boil over, as the meat rests. Because of cooked meat meatthe residual heat is a little longer because it is based.

I know somebody, you will not say t Bacu dry before adding the salt. That is not true. I still had my salt and meat before cooking and frying anything to dry. Not salt before cooking dry but gives a good taste.

Steak in the oven? The food police are prepared on the way to delivery.

Steak is NEVER put in a hot / cold / grilled (preferably over a flame)
Fried and flattened.

The oven is for barbecues and economic
People who put the meat in the oven, instead of tomato sauce, lasagne
And they should be locked up.

Good luck
